About the Tour
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Atlantis Submarines Cozumel aboard the Atlantis XII, the only tourist submarine in Mexico.
Your journey begins with a scenic ride along the southern coast of Cozumel aboard our vessel Ana, which will take you to the submarine. Once inside, you’ll descend more than 30 meters into the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean.
During the dive, you’ll discover the majestic Chankanaab Reef, part of the Mesoamerican Reef System — the second-largest barrier reef in the world. This ecosystem is home to an impressive variety of tropical fish, corals, and other marine species, all of which you’ll be able to observe from the comfort and safety of the submarine. Keep in mind that since we’ll be visiting a natural area, the marine life you see may vary depending on the time of year you visit.
The experience also includes a visit to the iconic Cozumel Wall, a world-renowned vertical drop recognized for its beauty, as well as the exploration of the sunken ship Felipe Xicoténcatl, an artificial reef that enhances marine life within this Protected Natural Area.
